Life in the Fast Lane

There is a song by the Eagles I think, all I know is some of the chorus, but lately this is how I feel.

Life in the fast lane.........gonna make me lose my mind.

Does life ebb and flow for you? Then at other times, does it feel like you are drinking from a firehose? ME TOO!

The last few days have been jam packed. Some truly wonderful things, but man I can't catch my breath.

Some highlights - I'll write more later

Friday: 4 hour drive home from San Diego - YUCK! Few household errands, some work but not much really. Early dinner party - FUN! Eucharistic Adoration & Choir Concert - BEAUTIFUL! After party - gathering really of friends I have not seen in awhile.

Saturday: All day with a dear (sister like) friend faced with starting again. Then off to a fish fry for my step-dads 79th birthday! Family in from out of town and big crowd gathered to celebrate.

Sunday: Church, small errands, time again with family then dinner and off the see the first two episodes of The Chosen - The Last Supper in theaters! I have waited a whole year!!

Monday: We're making some significant household changes and I have to figure out where to start (more on this later.)

When I type it out like this it doesn't seem like much, but believe me I feel like I've run a marathon. Tomorrow I will sit a share more of this and how God has been inspiring me through it all.
