Meet Tami
I am a Catholic Christian, a wife and mother of five. I recently and joyfully became a mother-in-law. I am a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, mentor and coach. I look forward to the day I can learn what it is to be a grandmother too.

All of these roles are rich and complex on their own and it was a journey to stand where I am today. As with most journeys, the paths I took have been full of immense joy, constant gratefulness, some sadness, a little anger and frustration, a tinge of fear now and then, but most importantly an abundance of unconditional love.
My story can't be told on this page alone, but I will tell it and you can read whatever interests you. You can find it on the BLOG pages. What I can tell you in summary is… this life is perfect. Perfectly suited to me. I treasure all the good and all the bad because when I step back and look at the whole of my life I know I am loved and what could be greater than that? I wouldn't trade a nickel of it, even though some of it hurt.
Know Thyself Consulting was born out of lessons learned. There are many things I am terrible at, but a few things that I do very well. At the risk of sounding arrogant I will share my strengths with you. I always look for ways to make good things great. I think strategically and plan accordingly. I am always looking for the lessons to be learned in any situation and I reflect on the past to help shape the future. I tend to gather information and things that I tuck away to be used when the moment arrives. I am undeniably positive. These gifts make me a great listener, leader and coach. However, these strengths also can cause resistance, upset, frustration, confusion, annoyance, dismissiveness; the list goes on. I have found success in a deeper understanding of my strengths; I now see not only what I intend, but how I am received - and therein lies the key.
I believe that where I am today has everything to do with the things I have done or not done. I have come to understand that my actions are inspired by my beliefs and that my beliefs have been shaped by my experiences. My story then is unique and so is yours. Contact me and let's begin a journey in discovering YOU.
Talents themselves are neutral, not one is better or worse than another. What matters is learning how to use them.
